Participation in Group Activities

Under assistance with social and community participation, participation in group activities or any activities offer opportunities for social inclusion. Participants are welcome to undertake activities independently or in facilitated workshops or as outlined in your NDIS plan. @ Angels Connect, we are flexible in order to meet your individual interests.

The benefits of participation in group activities are diverse in nature. Activity is important for everyone but the health implication on exercise and activities for those living with a disability is amplified significantly. It can help people with chronic, disabling conditions that improve stamina and muscle strength. It can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, it can also improve mood and promote general feelings of wellbeing.
